Glenn Means is the President of layerX Technologies a wholly-owned subsidiary of Shared Technologies, Inc. and serves as Chief Operating Officer for Shared Technologies, a position he has held since joining the company in early 2006.

Prior to joining Shared Technologies, Means served from 2004 to 2005 as Senior Vice President, Business Development; Chief Information Officer, for NEC Unified Solutions, Inc.

From 1998 to 2004, Means served as Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, for NEC Business Network Solutions and NEC Unified Solutions, Inc; and from 1996 to 1998, he served as Chief Operating Officer for NEC Business Communication Systems, Inc. Means has held a variety of other executive and senior management positions throughout his professional career.

Means is a Certified Public Accountant and earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Florida.
