layerX Technologies acquired by Shared Technologies
Coppell, Texas -- January 29, 2007 – layerX Technologies, LLC announced the majority of its assets have been acquired by Shared Technologies Inc. The Shared Technologies newly formed subsidiary, STI LayerX Inc. (“layerX” or layerX Technologies) will now partner with Shared Technologies to deliver a portfolio of converged security solutions, and will provide enterprise security management and virtualization solutions for enterprises and managed security service providers. layerX will operate as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Shared Technologies.
