Senior Flex Developer

Skills: Flex 3/4, Actionscript 3, Adobe AIR


The ideal candidate will have senior level proficiency in the following areas:

  • 5+ years software development experience
  • 2+ years of software development in Flash or Flex
  • Extensive knowledge of Action Script 3 programming
  • Strong skills in object oriented design and programming
  • Strong background in implementing User Interface and drawing code
  • Proven understanding of user-centered design principles
  • Experience with Flex MVC framework (i.e. Pure MVC, Cairngorm)
  • Demonstrated ability to write clear technical and design documents
  • Experience with web services, databases, and SQL
  • Rich Internet Application development
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • B.S. Computer Science or equivalent

Candidates having experience with the following are preferred:

  • Test-driven development
  • Large-scale system deployments
  • Experience with Apache, PHP, MySQL
  • Adobe AIR Application Development
  • SVN or other version control systems

Skills: Linux, C, C++, Bash, Perl, PHP


The ideal candidate will have senior level proficiency in the following areas:

 

  • 5+ years software development experience
  • Strong skills in object oriented design and programming
  • Strong background in data structures
  • Knowledge of Linux administration
  • Demonstrated ability to write clear technical and design documents
  • Experience with web services and databases
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • B.S. Computer Science or equivalent

Candidates having experience with the following are preferred:

  • Knowledge of C, C++, Boost and Linux/POSIX APIs
  • Experience with programming in a Linux environment
  • Experience with Apache, PHP, MySQL
  • Application-level protocol development, TCP networking
  • Test-driven development
  • Background in secure computing
  • Large-scale system deployments
